There is still a lot to play for

The first two teams Tiki Tour (14) and Yealands Family Wines (31) have touched down at Frankton Beach and the celebrations of completing Chapter 6 of GODZone have begun. A key bit of rest aids a strong start for Day Three

It’s another picture perfect day ahead for Day Three for Chapter 6 of GODZone. Tiki Tour (13) is still in the lead amongst the Pure teams, after a night of hiking Mt Crichton and kayaking on Lake Wakatipu. Currently in Stage 8, the Via Greenstone mountain bike phase, the team is now tackling a 110km


What the night brings – amongst the Pursuit course

The Pursuit GODZone competitors are certainly holding their own as they head their way towards the shores of Lake Wakatipu. With all 15 teams now off the Skippers Canyon rafting section, they are now stretched out between the 38km Stage 5 Seven Mile mountain bike and orienteering, the 21km Stage 6 Mt Crichton alpine trek,

Oh what a night

It has been a beauty of a night for the teams paddling the Abel Tasman last night to the finish line. 15 teams have now finished on Kaiteriteri beach completing the journey with a couple of days to spare. Teams Old and Slow, Sneaky Weasel Gang and Seagate arrived in 9th, 10th and 11th place

Pursuit team steams past Pure teams

One of the Pursuit teams is steaming through the GODZone Chapter Five course, overtaking many Pure teams on the Red Hills trek. Team 74 nEVEREST are more than halfway through the 52km trek, having overtaken seven Pure teams on the way. It took them 3 hours 22 minutes to complete stage one coasteering and kayaking,

The GODZone Pursuit teams set off this morning, tackling the coasteering and kayaking route from Kaiteriteri beach to Rabbit Island.
