First Pursuit Team Make It Happen

Team Turiwhate from Northland has claimed first place in the Pursuit category with easy style.
The foursome of Katie Smith, Troy Watson, Iain Watson, Rachel Drew gave the race all they had and described it as a lot of laughs.
“We actually were just having fun out there. Managed to get two six-hour sleeps early on and then just went from there,” said Katie Smith.
The Turiwhate support team went above and beyond the call of duty to look after the team and joked that ‘we wished you had not asked us’ at the finish line. Will the team be back – we definitely think so.
