The following is a broad outline of the schedule of major events leading up to and beyond the start of GODZone. This is subject to change and more specific information will be provided in the Newsletters.
- Thursday, 11th April 2013 Date of Chapter 3 announced
- Monday, 1st July 2013 Entries open
- Saturday, 31st August 2013 Early Entry Discount deadline (full balance must be paid)
- Monday, 16th September 2013 Newsletter 1 released
- Saturday, 30th November 2013 Final Entry Payment deadline – Entries Close
- Monday, 2nd December 2013 Newsletter 2 released
- Friday, 7th February 2014 Newsletter 3 released
- Friday, 7th March 2014 Registration and gear check opens to teams
- Friday, 7th March 2014 Gear Boxes handed in to event staff
- Saturday, 10th March 2014 GODZone starts
- Wednesday, 12th March 2014 First team arrives at Finish
- Saturday, 15th March 2014 Course closes, closing ceremony and prize giving
Note: We strongly recommend that domestic teams who are flying into Christchurch airport arrive no later than Wednesday 5th March so that any weather related delays can be avoided. International teams should plan to arrive a day or two earlier to ensure that all international connections are made and any baggage issues addressed.
